Chase is now a Reis!!! Finally today at 2:00pm Carol called with the best news we have had in two months. MARIA HAD OUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE IN HER HANDS!!! We got out of PGN on June 19th thinking that we would be traveling for sure in July well after three delays we will finally be traveling in September. Chase is finally coming home.... We can't believe it; but I can honestly say we are ready. His room is done, his closet is full, and there are lots of people for him to meet. Hopefully, we are down hill from here. Below is the timeline we should be looking at.
August 20th - Birth Certificate received
August 21st - Passport and DNA authorization
August 22nd - DNA test taken and overnighted to North Carolina (we are whats known as orange at this point in the adoption world.)
September 2nd ish - We should receive an email from the US Embassy with our date (then we are PINK!!! - what a nice color.)

I am so happy for you guys...Ive been checking every few dys to see if good news has arrived!!!! I cant wait to see pics of your pick up trip... you have certaintly waited long enough.. your little guy will be in your arms forever!!!!!! where he belongs
